Based in New York, New York, Vibe/Spin Ventures was a publishing and multi-media company focused on music and youth culture, publishing leading consumer music and lifestyle magazines VIBE and SPIN.  Freeman Spogli realized its investment in the company through a sale of SPIN magazine to The McEvoy Group and a sale of VIBE Ventures to the Wicks Group of Companies, both in 2006.
