Based in Norwalk, Connecticut, Micro Warehouse was a leading direct marketer of brand name personal computers, computer software, accessories, peripherals and networking products. Founded in 1987, Micro Warehouse marketed its products primarily to small and medium-sized businesses through frequent mailings of its catalogs, outbound telemarketing and its website. Freeman Spogli exited its investment in Micro Warehouse through a sale of Micro Warehouse’s North American operations to CDW in 2003.
