Based in Dallas, Texas, Hall-Mark Electronics was a leading U.S. industrial distributor of electronic components and systems.  In addition to providing national market coverage and strong technical support, Hall-Mark Electronics had a strong reputation for reliable on-time delivery and close relationships with key manufacturers.  In 1992, Hall-Mark Electronics completed an initial public offering (NASDAQ: HMEC).  Freeman Spogli realized its investment in Hall-Mark Electronics through a sale of the company to Avnet in 1993.
